2020 TAIWAN EARLY INVESTMENT FORUM

In 2020, under the strike of a black swan event, the New Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, the global investment momentum fell during the first quarter. According to the latest report of PwC/CB Insights in the "MoneyTree™ Report-Q1 2020", the number of VC investments in the first quarter was 3,344, with an investment amount of US$50.7 billion, representing a decrease of 18% and 17% from the previous quarter and the same period last year. The investment amount increased as compared to the previous quarter but decreased by more than 12% from the same period last year.
